The Launch Team:

Darren has more than sixteen years in web based software development and nine years as an offshore software development and quality assurance lead. Darren’s experience ranges from global business-to-business and consumer brand development and management, as well as new software introductions and integrated marketing campaigns. Darren has also held a number of managerial and analyst positions at Fortune 500 companies throughout the Southwest. Darren is the founder of the Austin Texas based Joomla Ausitn User's Group, which is the second largest Joomla User's Group in the United States.

When not learning and teaching about the latest in open-source web technologies, Darren is traveling with his wife Lisa and dog Ollie, scuba diving, hangin with friends, tasting good wine, are sharing a bite of some great food.

Sam has more than thirteen years of online development experience and has worked on projects both large and small in size and in the for-profit and non-profit worlds. In addition to an extensive web background Sam has taught technology classes on subjects ranging from basic MS Word to advanced networking and has written a number of courses as well. His position at launch is business development, project management and he is presently writing a blog on web technologies as well as trainings on Joomla usage

When not at the computer, Sam enjoys camping, fishing, firing up the smoker for brisket and salmon and spending time with his wife, Diana and pets Mina (cat) and Stella (dog).

Ali has been with Launch Interactive Media since it opened in 2007. He has more than 6 years of online development experience using the latest web technologies. He has significant experience in various open-source platforms, is an advanced CSS coder, and respected development manager. Ali leads Launch Interactive's office in Dhaka, and oversees the effective and successful development practices of Launch Interactive's projects.

When not developing new software frameworks, Ali is spending time with his wife Sharmin and daughter Athai enjoying the beauty of Dhaka and the surrounding country side.
